里奥哈是西班牙成名最早也是最大的优质葡萄酒产区，有着西班牙的波尔多之美誉，出产许多西班牙精品乃至极品的酒庄，橡树河畔就是其中最优秀的佳作之一。1890年，五个家族共同出资设立了橡树河畔，开始了他们共同的梦想生产高品质的佳酿。
    西班牙的红葡萄酒色泽深浓，就像身穿红色佛朗明哥舞衣、热情奔放的西班牙女郎，妩媚野性；又像斗牛士手中不停抖动着激怒狂牛的红色布缦，激情飞扬。据说*文豪海明威就是西班牙红酒的狂热“粉丝”，每天狂饮有“斗牛之血”之称的里奥哈葡萄酒，所以文思泉涌，终成名作，为里奥哈葡萄酒的名扬天下平添了几分神韵。 　　
风景秀美的Oja河畔，静静地耸立着四棵丰茂的橡树．1892年2月6日这幅美景成为了橡树河畔酒庄葡萄酒的酒标印记，并从此刻下了烙印，一直沿用至今。而橡树河畔的美酒也伴着Oja河流传开来。
